SpeechStorm Shows Commitment to Call Centre Market with Customer Contact Association (CCA) Affiliation

SpeechStorm joins CCA’s professional affiliation program and sponsors annual convention

Glasgow, November 5th, 2007 - SpeechStorm, a leading provider of speech enabled business solutions, has further demonstrated its commitment to the call centre market by aligning itself with the Contact Centre Association (CCA), the professional body representing the call centre industry in the UK.

SpeechStorm is the latest company to become a professional affiliate of the Contact Centre Association. The CCA is an independent organisation that represents over 800 corporate members and 4,000 senior call centre practitioners and its aim is to promote best practise and professional development across the UK call centre industry.

SpeechStorm will also sponsor the CCA’s Annual Convention taking place in Edinburgh later this week. The key theme at this year’s conference will be the challenge of providing service to a more diverse customer base. It is expected that over 800 members of the customer contact profession will meet at the Annual Convention.

Other topics to be debated at the annual convention are automated speech recognition and internet self-serve, two areas that were identified in a survey carried out by the CCA, as having a “significant impact in improving customer experience and service.”
